Lately at IFA 201, the Samsung Camera officially announced what will be their very first point and shoot from a factor camera running Android 4.1. This device is as Samsung Galaxy Camera and has an Android 4.1 atop, an Exynos 4412 Soc running at 1.4 GHz.
Samsung Galaxy Camera just come after the Nikon’s official announcement, their new launched camera named the Coolpix S800c which still trying to obtain more information about it. Both new launched cameras are physically similar but both include a 16 MP CMOS sensor that is ½.3” format.
On the other hand, the Galaxy Camera seems to be very close to Samsung Galaxy S3 which both includes the same set of local wireless connectivity options (dual band WiFi with 40 MHz channels, BT 4.0, GNSS), and includes cellular connectivity that might include LTE as well. The Samsung vaguely cites “4G” on the spec page which makes people think this might be the another CM221 based solution just like the Galaxy S3 for Korea together with LTE. Below is the comparison table which includes details:

Furthermore, the Samsung appears to have a little edge at F/2.8 when at its widest as compared to F/3.2 with Nikon. That said, expecting Nikon to have a leg up on Galaxy Camera because there will be more die area on that Soc (in which we are trying to gain more information on) dedicated to ISP that on the Samsung Galaxy Camera which basically includes an Exnos 4412 inside of it. Amusingly enough, the PureView 808 still includes a larger CMOS than either point and shoot, it has of course fixed focal length and no optical zoom.
